We are a Destination Management Company specialised in cultural tourism in Angola.

We began our operations as tour operators in 2014, at a time when Angolan society had recovered from the lengthy Civil War (1975-2002) and the country was opening up to foreign visitors.
After having explored the 18 provinces of Angola as primeval tourists ourselves, we saw that Angola would become sooner or later an important tourism destination. As passionates of culture we realised that the ethnic diversity (mainly concentrated in the southern provinces of Huila, Namibe, Cunene, and Cuando Cubango) was unique, only comparable to countries such as Ethiopia or South Sudan where traditional tribal life is still thriving despite modernity.

In 2014 we decided to start guiding small groups of travellers around the country and we realised people were loving Angola and its different tribal groups. It was then, that the idea of Last Tribes Angola became a reality that has been envolving and growing to this date...
